Enlighten Me, Bikini Edition
April 22, 2009 | 07:22PMI was at the beach recently. As I basked in the sun in my swimsuit, a peculiar analogy dawned on me. The comparison had something to do with my swimsuit and the size of my hands. Let’s take a look at this photo:
If I post photos in the net like the one above, I am almost sure that I can go about my life normally knowing that general public will openly accept me. However, the photos I post in this site are similar to this one below:
Posting pics like the one above requires me to hide most of my face and my true identity. Obviously, the nature of the above photo is frowned upon by most members of society. I actually find this very puzzling. To illustrate this point, take a look at the pic below:
As you can see, the surface area of my bikini top and bottom is basically the same as my hands. Hence, my hands practically cover the same amount of skin as my swimwear.
However, the photo of me in a bikini does not elicit the same response as the photo of me with my hands covering my body parts. Why? Is it because of the idea that I am completely naked in the other pic? Is it because bikinis are more common? I want to hear your thoughts.

I am really thankful you brought out that question. For me I don’t see anything wrong. And as you have somewhat concluded maybe and just maybe they’re thinking that you’re totally naked on the other pix (your hands covering your delicate parts), and that bikinis are still clothes but the thing is it covers same amount of your body and skin. So for me, I am not bothered and I would never ever mind it! It’s fantastic! Chill!

I think most people look that pic in different perspective. It depends on their cultural and moral orientation. You know we are always contained in our socio-religious and cultural norms and perception. But for me you are only showing your freedom of expression and there’s nothing wrong with it. What’s the difference between it? It depends on the person seeing it. Beside you’re sexy and hot…
i agree with demz on you being sexy and hot hehehehe but seriously demz is right its all about perspective “to each his own” i guess in you case her own. last time i cheacked this is still a free country and might i request to see your face from what i could see you have a beutiful face its a shame to hide it
i think its fu@#!*g non-sense!!! i think you better develop how you take picture of yourself ad develop the skill in editing it. FHM- can you find somebody else more acceptable?
The same is true between a miniskirt and a short shorts. A short shorts can expose more skin than a miniskirt but a miniskirt (or micro-mini) is more stimulating.
