Quezon Ave’s hot new attraction

January 31, 2008 | 05:15PM

In the Quezon Avenue area, one massage parlor has gotten my attention. And that’s Executive Health.

The reason?

Their rooms are neat, clean, and cozy. It’s not to the level of Flight 168, but is no rat-hole either.

They have a wide range of attendants. A number of them are actually quite pretty and charming. What sets Executive apart is what their attendants wear—black tube tops and tight denim jeans. It’s almost like having a KTV GRO in your room.

And, as a peculiar touch, even the greeters and desk clerks are available as attendants!

Executive Health is located in Quezon Avenue. If you are coming from EDSA, it is past West Avenue and on your left side.

What happens when KTVs and MPs are raided?

January 29, 2008 | 07:12PM

I have seen many news articles wherein adult establishments are raided and the “personal service providers” in such establishments are “rescued.” Of course we all know that prostitution is against the law, but must the forces of authority play the role of a chivalrous knight?

Yesterday I came across a news article which reported about a sex den that was raided and a 17-year old girl named Rhea was “rescued.” I admit that the girl really needed salvation. She is a minor. She was apparently trading sex for drugs. And the authorities placed her under the care of the Department of Social Welfare and Development, where she will undergo counseling and drug rehabilitation. It is an action that I do applaud. The message of Chief Insp. Valentino Lopez, chief of the Complaint and Reaction Unit of the Office of the PDEA Director General, is quite clear:

If we can save someone like Rhea, we are sending a message that we are determined to save more minors like her.

But what about the raids on massage parlors or KTVs, where the girls—who are of age—willingly and consciously enter the trade?

The “pearl necklace”

January 20, 2008 | 10:08PM

I came across an interesting article. It begins like this:

Diamonds may be a girl’s best friend, but a pearl necklace may be the next best thing, or at least a cheap substitute.

“Garaging” a girl—and wanting out

January 18, 2008 | 06:45PM

I know of several people who have been quite taken by a “personal service provider”—typically a GRO or an escort—and who had decided to “house” the girl. Some even use the term ginarahe yung babae. Literally translated to “parking” the girl, but I like to use the word “garage” as in “to garage the girl.” A friend of mine did just that. He knows my “bad” habits, and he and I were in a bar when he started to unravel his problems with a girl he’s “garaged.”

Good versus bad massage parlor attendant

January 16, 2008 | 03:10AM

The MPA I had was not a good conversationalist. Not that she was quiet and shy. It was that she couldn’t really read between the lines. There were some things that I just didn’t like to talk about, yet she kept on probing and asking questions, to the point that I began feeling uneasy and regretted picking her. For example, she asked me where I worked. I gave nothing specific.

“Just nearby,” I answered.

“Really?” she continued. “Where?”

I didn’t look her way. No smile was visible in my face. “Just around here,” I maintained.

“Really? What’s your company?”

I mean, doesn’t she get it? I DIDN’T WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT! The dialogue, though it dwelt into different themes and topics, continued with the same slant. She probed, irritatingly, where I lived, what I did for a living, do I have a girlfriend, and why don’t I have a girlfriend. My answers were curt and non-specific—yet she continued to ask questions.

Then we went into the part where we discussed the “extra service” fee. “I suppose,” she began, “you know how it goes.”

I nodded. Yes, I do.

Conversations with an escort handler

January 13, 2008 | 01:20AM

While waiting for the escort to arrive, I had the chance to have a friendly chat with her handler. He probably knew that punctuality was important to me, so I guess he wanted to gauge my temper while I waited. He has been my contact for several years now so he knows me as more than just a client.

In the course of the discussion, we talked about a previous escort he provided me. Her name was Nikki, a tall, long-haired, well-figured girl with clear, flawless complexion. She was just a few months past eighteen years of age, but from her looks you would think she was much older. She was still somewhat new to the trade, I having been just her third client. Her first client was a bumbling drunk who could barely get an erection. Her second client was a Korean who was hurrying for a trip back to his home country and who decided to have a tryst before his flight. She had appeared in a magazine spread a few months ago and she mentioned that Viva was considering her to be a future “hot babe.”

A new favorite Makati massage parlor

January 09, 2008 | 12:51AM

Of all the massage parlors around the Makati area, Eustacia Inn is becoming a favorite of mine. The rooms are clean and comfortable and lately the quality of their attendants is a notch above their nearby competitors (Palacio Don Pedro and Phoenix One). I heard that it is because one of their managers used to be a GRM from a “closed-for-renovation” KTV so she brought her talents over to Eustacia. In fact, when I visited them a few days back, a number of their attendants were dressed in GRO-cocktail attire.

Versus the nearby Phoenix One (which is just a few blocks away), parking is no problem, although it is open-parking. Moreover, the massage costs just P1,500, so it ranks high in terms of “bang-for-the-buck.” No pun intended.
